Sber has announced the start of accepting applications for the fourth season of the student accelerator, startups from graduate students and university researchers will also be able to participate, the press service of the technology company reported.

To participate in the program, you must register on the site before November 1. Graduates of the three above accelerators created 1.5 thousand startups and managed to raise 420 million rubles, recalls Sberbank.

This year, Sberbank joined the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform”, explains Alexander Vedyakhin, first vice-president of the Sberbank board of directors.

In this way, private investors will be able to recover up to 50% of the funds invested in new universities. The state will allocate 3.2 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment repayment program.

The acceleration is carried out in two stages over a period of six months. At the first stage, participants get access to Sberbank’s online technology entrepreneurship program.

Participants will be able to choose one of four tracks: artificial intelligence, technologies for the metaverse, Web 3.0 concepts, technologies in medicine.

Subsequently, the team and the concept of the project will be formed. In the next stage, the teams will work with mentors to implement the idea and get the first business results.

RB.RU organizes a project meeting founders monday for beginners and experienced entrepreneurs. Twice a month on Mondays.

The most successful projects will be shown to the management of Sberbank and other companies, startups will also be evaluated by business angels and rectors of universities.

Winners and awardees will be eligible to receive grants from the Moscow Seed Fund, as well as a presidential grant for master’s degrees and further business support for the project after the program ends.

Applications for an inclusive accelerator for entrepreneurs with disabilities were previously opened in Moscow.
