The Russian payment system Unistream announced the cessation of transfers in dollars and euros to Tajikistan. It will also be impossible to carry out such an operation from the republic. He said so in a statement.
If the transfer was sent earlier, but not received, it is recommended to contact the transfer bank for a refund. You can do it until September 30.
“After September 30, 2023 it will not be possible to return transfers sent in dollars and euros. Unistream continues to work in rubles in Tajikistan”, they explain in the company’s press service.
In July, Unistream was added to the US sanctions list, after which several banks in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan stopped receiving and sending money through this system.
In early August, the Unistream app was removed from Google Play.
