According to information security experts, hacktivists in pro-Ukrainian shadow forums were encouraged to attack the payment service. Danila Chezhin, commercial director of digital asset protection company ServicePipe, emphasized that DDoS attacks usually start after such calls, which can reach 10 Gb/s, but this campaign is less powerful.

“Calls to attack a company, as a rule, lead to a massive DDoS attack (denial of service attack) that happens to the payment system,” said one of Kommersant’s interlocutors.
