The last of such incidents happened yesterday. A user on Twitter, nicknamed Vedant G., complained that his friend’s smartphone screen turned completely green while reading the news. Unresponsive to touch, reboot doesn’t help. According to him, the smartphone has been updated to the latest version of iOS and has no physical damage.
For some, meanwhile, the screen turns completely white or yellow. In some cases, resetting the smartphone or restarting the device helps resolve the issue.
It is noteworthy that these problems occur in iOS 16.1 as they were not observed in earlier versions. Although Apple has not made an official statement on this issue, there have been reports that the company has quietly replaced its smartphones affected by the bug.
