The platform for viewing video content “VK Video” left the beta version and announced the official launch.
The platform launched a complete mobile application where users can watch exclusive shows, blogger videos, streams, movies, series, and UGC videos.
The application can be downloaded from RuStore, Google Play, App Store, Xiaomi GetApps, Huawei AppGallery and Smart TV (LG, Samsung and Android TV).
The application has a showcase of recommendations, thematic playlists, a Trending section with the most commented and viral video content. Users also have access to their own viewing history, downloaded, liked and favorited videos.
- VK Video is a platform that combines videos and broadcasts from all VK resources: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and others. The platform is monetized through advertising (short pre-rolls) in commercials and live broadcasts. The launch took place in the fall of 2021.
- The average daily number of views of VK Video in the second quarter of 2023 increased by 14% compared to the second quarter of 2022 and reached 1.91 billion.
