A Moscow court fined the video streaming service Twitch, as well as the owner of the dating service Tinder, 10 million rubles for 13 million rubles. Both companies received fines for repeatedly refusing to locate Russians’ personal data, Kommersant reports.
Twitch received its first fine for refusing to locate data in June 2022, Match Group (which owns Tinder) in July. Both companies – for 2 million rubles.

Roskomnadzor reported in June 2022 that the storage of personal data of Russian users was located in about 600 representations of foreign companies in the Russian Federation. Services and companies can be blocked for refusing location. Thus, in 2016, the social network LinkedIn was blocked.
