“Dodo Pizza” entered the Georgian market

According to the company’s press service, until 2024 the company had no competitors in the network in Batumi. And the delivery format turned out to be the most convenient at the beginning of the launch. In April, the chain will open its first offline outlet in Batumi and plans to open a restaurant in Tbilisi later this year.

The delivery service began operating in the country on Saturday, the company placed 161 orders on the first day and 152 orders on Sunday. Income exceeds $2,000 a day. The dodopizza.georgia account on the banned social network previously claimed that the network would open in Batumi in December 2023.

The chain said it was not prepared for such an avalanche, so now “delivery times and the number of stops still leave much to be desired.” In the near future, Dodo Pizza in Georgia will focus on recruiting and developing the team.

As explained in Dodo’s message, at first the company’s partner decided not to focus on marketing, but in April it was planned to start a larger-scale promotion, with the opening of an offline restaurant. Furthermore, next month the partner will start looking for premises for its launch in Tbilisi.
