According to insider information, the company plans to launch its new foldable smartphone Mate X5, which will be powered by the proprietary Kirin 9000s processor. This chip is already used in the recently released Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro models.
The new product will be available in two versions: standard and collector. Users will be able to choose from a variety of memory configurations ranging from 12 to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB to 1 TB of internal storage.
Additionally, the smartphone will be available in five color options: black, white, blue, gold and purple.
There is no definitive information yet about the announcement date of the new device. However, considering that its predecessor, the Mate X3, was only released this year, we can assume that the Mate X5 will arrive in late 2023 or early 2024.
