After a few months of waiting, Dell finally announced the launch of the Alienware Aurora R15 in Brazil. The model was already unveiled at BGS 2022 and will be officially available in Brazilian territory starting this Tuesday (23), with a starting price of R$9,999.
design and cooling
The Aurora R15 is a pre-assembled desktop with a very distinctive look. The case is filled with RGB lights throughout the zones and has a more rounded shape and very futuristic overall design unique to Alienware, with grilles and USB ports on the front.
One of the most important features of this line is the cooling system. According to the manufacturer, R15 had 19% airflow improvementthanks to the 240mm water cooler added to the top of the case. Noise caused by fragments has also been optimized and is 66% lower on CPU-intensive tasks.
The overall cooling system includes two 120mm fans pulling in cold air at the front and a fan at the rear that acts as an exhaust. Even the glass side has hexagonal holes to vent the hot air inside the case. It is worth noting that the user can choose between the model that comes with a fully closed lid or a tempered glass side.

The mighty Aurora R15 arrived in Brazil in four packs. Contains the first and cheapest processor 13th Gen Intel Core i516GB RAM memory, 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD and RTX 3060. The combo is priced at R$9,999 and comes with an AW320M mouse and AW510K keyboard.
There is a second very similar package, but this one changes the processor to Intel Core i7 and its value rises to R$12,199. Both are sold with a side door without glass.
The third bundle option retains the 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 512GB of internal storage, but with 32GB of RAM and RTX 3070 as graphics card.
In this combination, AW2523HF monitor also included. This model features a 24-inch display with Fast IPS panel, 360 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms response time, Full HD resolution and AMD FreeSync Premium technology. The total amount is R$15,799.
Finally, the most expensive option in the package includes: intel core i9 processor 32GB RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD and RTX 4070 Ti. The AW2523HF monitor is also part of this combination, and both this and the above package are sold with the glass side cover. The price is much saltier and comes out to BRL 19,799.
Dell reports that soon the user will be able to change the settings of the models at the time of purchase. It will be possible to replace the 512 GB SSD with a 1 TB SSD, increase or decrease the amount of RAM.
New Alienware M16 in Brazil
Besides, Dell also announced that the Alienware M16 is the new laptop officially arriving in Brazil..
The laptop can be equipped with an RTX 4070 and Intel Core i9 13900HX processor (24 cores and 32 threads) with a choice of 16 or 32 GB DDR5 RAM memory and 1 TB NVMe SSD at 4800 MHz. The build is very reminiscent of the Alienware M15, and the display works in Quad HD+ resolution, 16:10 format and a refresh rate of 165 Hz or 240 Hz.
