Apple held its traditional fall presentation of new products.
New generation of Apple Watch
Apple’s ninth-generation smartwatch is equipped with an S9 processor, which, according to the developers, is 50% faster than the previous model. The screen brightness of the new watch model is 2 thousand nits, twice that of the Apple Series 8.
Also added to the watch is the ability to double-click to accept or end a call.
In the premium model of Apple Watch Ultra 2, the maximum screen brightness will be 3 thousand nits. In battery saving mode, the watch can work for up to 72 hours.
The company also introduced watch straps from Nike and Hermes. According to Apple, the new Apple Watch is the company’s first completely carbon-neutral product. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is priced at $799.
iPhone 15
The smartphone has an Apple A16 processor. The generation was equipped with a new camera and components made from recycled materials. Portrait mode has been improved to capture more details in photos.
The screen diagonal of the iPhone 15 is 6.1 inches, that of the iPhone 15 Plus is 6.7 inches. The back of the smartphone is matte and, according to Apple, is made using a special technology.
iPhone 15 starts at $799, iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899.
iPhone 15 Pro Made in a titanium case, a light and durable material. The smartphone is equipped with the new A17 Pro processor.
The action button on the body will change its purpose: pressing it can set various actions, for example, recording a voice memo.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro take uncompressed ProRaw photos. Smartphones will be able to record videos in 3D format for viewing on the Vision Pro headphones.
Sales of new devices will begin on September 22.
