“Im Engineering” is dedicated to software development; Until now, the structure through the Dutch Ingram Micro Global Services BV and Ingram Micro Europe BV belonged to the American distributor Ingram Micro.

The corporation had not previously announced its withdrawal from Russia. The private company is owned by the investment fund Platinum Equity. Until 2021, Ingram Micro was owned by China’s HNA Technology. The purchase of the company cost the fund $7 billion.

Im Engineering Services LLC was registered in 2016, net profit in 2021 was approximately 1.5 billion rubles. In 2022, the structure recorded a net loss of 69 million rubles under RAS.

In 2020, the French antitrust authority accused Ingram Micro of colluding with Apple and Tech Data. French authorities have imposed fines on companies for using anti-competitive business practices ranging from €62.9 million to €1.1 billion.
