Scientists from the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) are conducting research that will help improve the design of elements of the “Super C-tau Factory” electron-positron collider in Sarov. These studies are necessary to optimize technical solutions and ensure the accuracy of experiments.
Researchers are simulating key experiments, evaluating the behavior of particles and beams in the accelerator ring, and studying technical aspects of the facility. This will ensure that the designed “Super S-tau factory” can achieve the required accuracy in the experiments conducted.
Particular attention is also paid to the development of a detector system that will make it possible to measure the parameters of particles resulting from beam collisions even at high load and high brightness of the installation.
This project, carried out in cooperation with Russia’s leading scientific institutes, aims to study the properties of heavy particles and the search for New Physics beyond the Standard Model. The Super C-tau Factory promises to be one of the world’s largest high-luminosity colliders that will enable more precise and important experiments.
