Previously, this option was only available in 10 countries, but now others, including residents of Russia, have access to this option.
The company describes the new feature as “a simple, secure and private way to keep up with important news from people and organizations.”
New features also come with the new update. You can now post text, photos, videos, polls and stickers to channels. Additionally, the channel catalog has been improved, adding the ability to set reactions and forward posts to chats or groups.
Please note that subscribers’ phone numbers will remain hidden from other users and the channel administrator. Additional improvements are planned in the coming months, including the ability to edit posts for 30 days after they are published.
