Former Yandex director Sergei Faifer sold his startup Spellwise to a US artificial intelligence company. This is Phifer’s second “exit”: in January 2022 he sold the Sayana service. Nikolay Davydov and his fund invested in both startups.
Former head of development of experimental projects at Yandex, Sergei Fayfer, sold the startup Spellwise to the American artificial intelligence company Perplexity. The Gold Penguin portal writes about this.
The amount and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Fifer will continue working at Spellwise as head of mobile development.

Nikolai and Marina Davydov’s Davidovs fund invested in Spellwise in the first quarter of 2023.
