Gemini is an LLM suite that can be used in a variety of applications, from chatbots to summarizing and generating text for tasks such as drafting emails, music lyrics or news articles. It is also expected to assist software engineers in writing code and creating visuals according to user requests.

Google is currently giving developers access to a limited version of Gemini, but a larger version closer to GPT-4 is in development. The company plans to make Gemini available to businesses through its Vertex AI service.
