Apple continues to limit the ability to shoot ProRes video on the iPhone 15 Pro, as it did on the iPhone 14 Pro.
If you buy a smartphone with 128 GB memory, then you will only have access to 1080p 30 FPS resolution for ProRes videos. To access 4K 60 FPS, you need to connect your iPhone to an external drive.
The limitation does not apply to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as that model starts with 256GB of storage.
