Avito analysts have developed a liquidity rating for used cars, those that are usually sold in one day. The study revealed that currently a Chinese car can sell as quickly as a European or Japanese one.
The Avito Auto service, based on sales data on its own platform, has compiled a rating of cars that can be sold faster than others, in a day or less.
The study looked at two age groups of cars: 1 to 3 years old and 4 to 6 years old.
In the first age category, the leader was the Chinese Haval Jolion with an average transaction speed of less than a day. Representatives of the Korean automobile industry Kia Seltos and Kia Rio took second and third place.
In the second age group, the first place was taken by the Japanese Mitsubishi Outlander. The top three were Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris.
“Today, Chinese used cars sell in Russia as fast as well-known European, Korean and Japanese brands,” noted Nikolai Manaykin, director of new business models at Avito Auto.
