“i-shopper reviews” on YouTube channel compared Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro and Realme GT3 on eight main parameters. Who will be better?

Materials and ergonomics. Both smartphones have a back panel made of glass. The only difference is that Realme’s is matte, while Poco’s is glossy. In both cases, the tips are plastic and stylized as metal. Both devices receive 2 points (i.e. maximum) for this parameter.

Impressions. Poco’s diagonal is 6.67 inches, Realme’s diagonal is 6.74 inches. But Xiaomi has higher resolution and higher pixel density. At the same time, Realme has a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz (120 Hz on Poco) with the ability to adjust the refresh rate individually for each application. You can read from either screen outdoors without any problems, but the Poco F5 Pro performed better in auto-brightness mode. If you adjust the brightness manually, the maximum brightness level will also be higher. Also Poco has less problems with PWM. Overall, Poco F5 Pro received 2 points and Realme GT3 received 1 point.

Iron. Both devices run on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The performance of smartphones is approximately at the same level. Both devices are suitable for heavy gaming. Additionally, Poco F5 Pro has 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB memory options, while Realme GT3 only has 16 GB/1 TB memory options. As a result, both smartphones received 2 points.

Photography. Poco F5 Pro has a 64 MP main camera, 8 MP wide camera with 120 degree viewing angle and a 2 MP macro camera. Realme GT3 is equipped with a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP wide lens with 112-degree viewing angle, and a 2 MP microscope. In terms of additional cameras, Realme is more interesting as it can bring objects much closer. The wide-angle cameras are poor in both cases, but the F5 Pro’s lens produces more noise and the Realme GT3’s has less detail. You won’t see much difference between devices in daytime photos. But when there is a lack of light, the GT3 wins. Overall, Poco F5 Pro received 1 point, while Realme GT3 received 2 points.

video shooting. Both smartphones can record video at 4K 60 fps. Unlike Realme, Poco can also shoot in 8K, but the video comes out jerky and unstable. Stabilization works differently on smartphones. While the Poco F5 Pro has a slight flicker in the image, the Realme GT3 gets stuck in the image while moving. It turns out that the GT3 is better in terms of shooting video at night. At this point, Poco received 1 point and Realme also received 1 point.

Both front cameras on smartphones have 16 MP resolution. However, in low light conditions, the GT3 takes slightly better photos. In addition, F5 Pro can record video at 1080p 60 fps with this camera, while Realme can record video at 1080p 30 fps.

Sound and functionality. There are almost no differences between devices in terms of support for various functions. Apart from this, Poco has IP53 splash protection and Realme has the feature to record calls without warning. Both smartphones have stereo speakers. In general, it turns out that the GT3 is better in terms of sound. In total it gets 2 points and Poco gets 1 point.

Autonomy. Poco’s battery capacity is 5160 mAh, for Realme – 4600 mAh.Overall, F5 Pro lasts longer: 7 hours 50 minutes, Realme GT3 5 hours 45 minutes. At the same time, Poco charges in 48 minutes with 67W charging, and Realme charges in 12 minutes with 240W charging. Poco also supports 30W wireless charging. As a result, Poco F5 Pro wins this round (2 points), while Realme gets 1 point.

Price:%s. Realme’s global version came out with only 16GB/1TB version. At the start of sales, Poco F5 Pro costs at least 33 thousand rubles, and Realme GT3 costs 50 thousand rubles. They’re even more expensive now. As a result, Poco gets 1 point and Realme gets 0 points.
