iFixit has published a video showing the disassembly of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9.

The video confirmed that the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is equipped with a 564 mAh battery, which is 4% more than the previous generation. Apple says both models can last up to 36 hours on a single charge.

The battery capacity of the 41mm Series 9 is 282 mAh. This figure is unchanged from the 41mm 8 Series.

iFixit didn’t find any obvious hardware changes related to the new Double Tap gesture for watchOS 10.1, which will be released next month. Overall, the Ultra 2 and Series 9 have a very similar internal design as the original Ultra and Series 8.
