Russian companies are more likely to hire freelancers this year: demand for them has increased by a quarter. In this way they optimize the tax burden, since you do not have to pay insurance premiums for them.

They are also hired for seasonal tasks in conditions of staff shortages. At the same time, self-employed workers, unlike those with an employment contract, are deprived of vacation and sick leave, writes Izvestia, citing a study by hh.ru and YouDo.

The most attractive thing for companies that cooperate with freelancers is the ease of work (38%), efficient performance of tasks (26%), ease of registration (21%) and the absence of the need to hire a person on staff. for one-time services (15%).

At the same time, 61% of self-employed people saw their income increase significantly compared to last year.

47% of freelancers in Russia intend to increase the cost of their services by the end of 2023, one in five – by 20-30%. In most cases, the highest incomes for self-employed workers are offered in the field of retail trade, IT, logistics, public and business services. On average, in these categories they offer from 150 thousand to 200 thousand rubles per month.
