Noted analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong Tech reported that Apple plans to release an Apple Watch with a micro-LED display at the end of 2025.

The advantages of the new technology include greater transparency, greater color saturation, better viewing angles, high visibility, higher brightness, reduced power consumption and increased service life.

However, such screens are noticeably better than IPS, OLED and other displays. For this reason, mass production of some specific devices (except TVs) is currently causing a problem, and the first Apple technology with such screens will be used in watches in the near future.

For now, the company plans to release the micro-LED Apple Watch at the end of 2025, but it is possible that their release could be scheduled for 2026. [9to5]
