Following reports of the development of a smart ring and augmented reality device and the revival of the Fan Edition series, information has emerged about the possible return of the company’s fitness tracker series.
A new Samsung device recently received FCC certification. The device, whose model number is SM-R390, attracted attention thanks to the schematic images showing the back of the device.
The image shows a rectangular device with rounded edges, possibly with a heart rate sensor and two charging pins. These data and the shape of the device indicate that this is a new fitness bracelet.
Samsung last launched a similar device three years ago in October 2020. Galaxy Fit 2 is a slim-bodied Galaxy Fit 2 with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display and 5ATM water resistance up to 50 meters.
The new FCC-certified device appears to be slightly larger than the Galaxy Fit 2, but will likely still be the Galaxy Fit 3 (if Samsung keeps the Fit name).
