In Russia, 52% of citizens resigned due to a conflict atmosphere in the team. The most striking manifestations of a toxic environment are coercion to perform tasks for other employees and instilling a feeling of guilt for leaving work on time. Forbes writes about this with reference to Renaissance Insurance and the Zarplata.ru service.
At the same time, employees in these teams are willing to stay until the last minute, although 63% develop health problems due to the toxic atmosphere, which increases the desire to quit. 27% of Russians are ready to write a resignation letter only after the employer has put forward inadequate requirements for job performance.
For 13% of respondents, the point of no return is the realization that it is impossible to change the company’s internal processes, and for 11%, the reason for writing a statement is the refusal to increase salaries.
Additional medical leave would prevent 39% of workers from leaving a toxic team. A complete medical examination is sufficient for one in four people, another quarter wants their employer to provide their employees with a complete medical examination annually.
2,330 respondents over the age of 18 from Russian cities with a population of one million took part in the survey.
