The decision was made in favor of former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and former senior policy strategist Vijaya Gadde, among other executives. The judge concluded that Twitter “breached its duty to cover legal expenses arising from its work at the company.”

After acquiring Twitter, Musk fired Agrawal and other top executives, leading to legal disputes.

Although company officials were shocked by the $1.1 million figure, a judge ultimately ruled in the former Twitter executives’ favor, saying that although the amount was high, it was not unreasonable.
