Although Valve was involved in the development of both the game and the device, CS2 in its current form does not offer a comfortable gaming experience on Steam Deck.
Although the project’s page on the Steam store gives the impression that everything is fine in terms of compatibility with the company’s portable device, in practice this is not the case.
For example, there are visible performance problems when playing the Dust 2 map. Therefore, the first shot from a weapon may cause the game to freeze for a few seconds.
The frame rate also leaves much to be desired, reaching only 25-35 frames per second at the recommended settings.
