Yandex taught its neural network to retell videos in the browser and search. Users will be able to read the summary and authors will be able to create a time-coded description of the video and attract a new audience. This was reported by the press service of the service to RB.RU.
YandexGPT summarizes Russian-language videos ranging in length from two minutes to four hours and retells those videos that contain speeches. The technology works like this: first, an algorithm converts an audio track into text using speech recognition, and then a neural network divides it into semantic fragments.
To retell the video, you need to open the video and click on the “Short Recount” button. In “Search”, a short summary will appear immediately after clicking the same button next to the video in the search results. To receive a count on 300.ya.ru, you will need to copy the link to the desired video into the input field of the service.
Previously, the company released a short count of Internet articles. The user only needs to upload a link to the neural network and the model will compile a summary with the main points.
YandexGPT (YaLM 2.0) was launched on May 17. It is available to users in “Let’s figure it out” mode in Alice. The neural network was trained in two stages on Yandex supercomputers. The company also implemented it in its Masterpiece app.
