On the camera front, the Galaxy S23 FE leaves its competitors behind with a 50 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. However, the telephoto lens is slightly inferior to its 10-megapixel counterpart on the S23. Additionally, the front camera on the S23 FE has a 10MP sensor, which is slightly smaller than the 12MP sensor on the S23.
The Galaxy S23 FE is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is a step down from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the S23. Despite this change, it still promises good performance.
One area where the S23 FE surpasses the S23 is in screen size: 6.4 inches compared to the S23’s 6.1 inches. The S23 FE also has a larger 4,500mAh battery for longer use.
With a starting price of $599, the Galaxy S23 FE is a good option for users who want a pretty good smartphone without requiring a premium price.
The smartphone will be available starting October 26 in mint, purple, cream and graphite color options.
