That is why American legislators are demanding changes to the current legislation: in their opinion, US citizens should not contribute at any level to the technological development of the PRC, which is dangerous for the States.
“The Chinese Communist Party is maliciously using RISC-V to circumvent U.S. dominance of the intellectual property needed to make chips,” McCall said.
