Latest data suggests that the Pixel 8 series will likely use Samsung’s ISOCELL GNV sensor instead of the GN2.

ISOCELL GNV is a 50MP sensor used in various Android devices, including the Vivo X80 Pro. Although Google has not officially confirmed people’s speculations.

More details may emerge with teardowns and further research, but for now the exact camera sensor on Google’s newest Pixel phones remains a mystery.
