Apple adds audio playback feature to Apple Watch in iOS 17

iOS 17 introduced the ability to send a sound signal from the iPhone to the Apple Watch. This was reported by the 9to5mac portal.

Previously, the sound cue function was only reversed: from Apple Watch to iPhone. If the owner of a smartphone has lost it, using a beep from the watch on the wrist can make it easier to find it.

Now the function works in both directions. You can send a signal to your watch from your iPhone, making it easier to find it if it gets lost. You can unmute your Apple Watch in the Find My app or by using the button in Control Center.
