Oleg Deripaska won a lawsuit against Oleg Tinkov for his own claim to protect honor and dignity. This was told to Interfax by Oleg Deripaska’s lawyer, Alexey Melnikov.
The Ust-Labinsky District Court of the Krasnodar Territory decided to recover 20 million rubles from Oleg Tinkov in favor of Oleg Deripaska. Deripaska demanded to recover 2 billion rubles from Tinkov, but the court decided to reduce the amount of sanctions.
“The money will go to charity,” said Deripaska’s lawyer, Alexey Melnikov.
Deripaska accused Tinkov of public insults for posts discrediting honor and dignity that Tinkov posted on social media.
Deripaska’s lawsuit also included Meta Platforms, whose activities were recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned, and on whose services posts were published. Deripaska made no financial demands on the company, but asked that information that offended him be removed.
