Now you can send a parcel with Russian Post without leaving home: the company has offered courier services that will deliver parcels to branches. Residents of cities with a population of more than 500,000 people will be able to use the new service, Pochta said in a statement.
In order for the courier to collect the package, it must be reserved, packaged and paid for on the Correos website or mobile application using a bank card or through the Faster Payment System.
If the customer cannot print the form, they must write the tracking number on the package. When the package is ready to be sent, you can call a courier on the pochta.ru website or in the application.
According to Pochta’s calculations, on average the entire process from the moment of the call to receiving the package at the branch will take about 40 minutes.
In 2022, Russian Post launched an express delivery service from the branch. Now it is available in more than 2.5 thousand branches in cities with a population of 500 thousand or more.
Previously, Russian Post expanded cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses: retail stores, order collection points in any market and cafes located more than 500 meters from the post office can accept parcels for delivery.
