The department required the fulfillment of a number of conditions under which the transaction would be impossible. As a result, Microsoft transferred the rights to all cloud gaming of existing and new Activision Blizzard products to the French company Ubisoft.

“The new agreement will prevent Microsoft from stifling competition in cloud gaming as the market evolves and will maintain competitive prices and services for cloud gaming consumers in the UK,” the CMA said in a statement.
