Russian Post has started using Evolute electric vehicles; The operator is testing two models in Moscow: Evolute i-Pro and Evolute i-Joy. This was reported by the Post Office press service.
The i-Pro model is used for branch duties in the capital, the Evolute i-Joy was used to transport employees and cargo for head office jobs. During the tests, experts will analyze how the use of electric vehicles affects the environment.
They are also investigating “noise pollution” in residential areas. Post will also evaluate the profitability of switching to electric cars. According to the head of transport support of the Post, Evgeny Antonik, according to various indicators, vehicles with an internal combustion engine are even more efficient, but the company notes positive dynamics with the development of technology.
The production of electric vehicles of the Evolute brand is carried out by the Lipetsk company Motorinvest. Assembly began in the fall of 2022, with the first model being the Evolute I-Pro. Previously, the manufacturer agreed with Yandex.Taxi on the supply of electric vehicles to the service fleet. The first models entered circulation at the beginning of the year in Nizhny Novgorod.
