“Yandex.Maps” began to display the cost of the trip in the paid sections of the route, the service said in a statement. Previously, Maps only warned drivers about the presence of toll roads along the way.
When plotting a route, the driver will immediately be shown the toll roads and the cost of the trip for a passenger vehicle. In this case, the cost will not be calculated for the entire route, but only for the section that the driver will travel.
For flexible rates, the service will also take arrival time into account. Thus, if the driver plans a route in the morning, but only arrives at the toll section in the afternoon, the application will show the rate corresponding to the night rate.
The function has already appeared in the new version of the application on iOS and Android.
