Standard components of the iPhone 15 cost $423, which is 16% more than the iPhone 14. The iPhone 15 Plus costs the company $442, which is 10% more than its predecessor.
Despite rising costs, Apple did not raise retail prices on any iPhones this year and decided to absorb significant costs. The only change was the permanent release of the 128GB Pro Max model.
Research firm Fomalhaut Techno Solutions believes that if Apple continues to turn a blind eye to increased costs, its bottom line will suffer. For this reason, Cupertino may increase retail prices for iPhones after the launch of the iPhone 16 line next year.
