A digital platform for registering a company with one click will be launched in Russia in 2024, writes the Izvestia newspaper citing Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko.

A platform for registering a company with one click will be launched in Russia

The platform will allow you to register a business, open a bank account or obtain an electronic signature. According to Grigorenko, a site will combine several functions at once.

Through the service, in particular, it will be possible to submit documents to the Federal Tax Service to open a bank account. As long as the client has previously visited the bank and has been identified, it will be possible to present documents completely remotely.

If a citizen’s data is in a unified biometric system, there is no need to visit the bank.

As the SME Corporation points out, today a visit to a credit institution is mandatory to obtain an electronic signature and open an account. The launched project will help avoid trips to banks and the tax office for such purposes.

Sberbank told the newspaper that they had already received an offer to participate in the “Start an Online Business” experiment of the Ministry of Finance. In the department’s documents, the credit institution is indicated as a participant.

Sber’s press service added that the company is studying scenarios for implementing remote account opening using biometrics. The bank will begin developing the corresponding service next year.
