Motorola presented at Lenovo Tech World ’23 a prototype of a smartphone with a flexible earpiece that can be worn on the wrist like a bracelet.

The smartphone has a POLED display, which allows it to take different shapes depending on the desires of the users. For example, it can be used like a regular Android smartphone with a rotating earphone, and, if necessary, bent and placed on a table.

But the most interesting and unusual way to wear it is on the hand. In this mode, the screen bends around the wrist, and the device is attached to a special bracelet that is held on the hand.

Only the top part of the display remains active, showing the clock and notifications.

This working concept shows how flexible screens can be used on a phone. But Motorola does not yet plan to launch mass production of such smartphones. [Lenovo]
