YouTube Music will let users create artwork for playlists with AI features

YouTube Music announced will now allow the playlist image to be changed by the owner with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). This means it still won’t be possible to upload a specific image, but it will at least have some level of customization.

This feature will first reach users in the United States. But the idea is that the sexa feature will expand globally. It’s worth remembering that currently the platform itself creates playlist covers using images of the first four songs.

In addition to using AI to create art for playlists, YouTube Music has confirmed that another new feature is coming. Platform will provide you with a more dynamic way to find and enjoy your favorite music. According to the brand, this will “help you quickly discover and listen to songs and artists you have on repeat.”

How to create playlist art with AI in YouTube Music?

As soon as the functionality is released in Brazil, a few taps on the device’s screen will be enough to create a playlist image with the help of artificial intelligence. To use the resource, you must complete the following process:

1. Select the playlist and tap the pencil icon in the lower right corner of the current image;
2. Then define a category;
3. You can leave the creation at random or choose some details to your liking;
4. Finally, tap “Create” and if you like what you see, tap “Save.”
