Moscow will spend 265 million rubles on creating a neural network to detect emergency situations on the roads. The AI will recognize incidents that are not formally considered traffic violations, for example if a car is moving significantly slower than the speed of main traffic.
Moscow authorities have opened a tender for the creation of the PROEvent neural network, which will recognize emergency situations on the roads. For the development of the neural network, 265 million rubles will be spent, writes Kommersant.
Under the terms of the contract, the neural network must detect situations on the roads that do not formally constitute a violation of traffic rules. In the tender document, these included, for example, the movement of a car significantly slower than the speed of the main flow, the “intrusion” of a pedestrian or a vehicle into a prohibited zone.
The system will help you better analyze the traffic situation. The information from the neural network will be transmitted to emergency and city services for response.
