In Finland, brands from several Russian companies were confiscated. We are talking about Sberbank, Kalashnikov and RT: they will not be able to have their brands in the country. They were withdrawn from the patent office due to sanctions, reports the Yle TV channel.
The Finnish debt collection authority has confiscated the trademarks of several Russian companies, the Yle television channel reported.
The brands of Sberbank, Kalashnikov and ANO TV-Novosti, whose founder is Russia Today, were confiscated at the patent office. Now these companies will not be able to have their brands in Finland.
Yle clarified that the posters were confiscated due to European Union sanctions imposed on these companies.
RT informed RIA Novosti that it had not received any notification about the confiscation of the posters. According to the company, the RT trademark is still listed as protected in Finland.
