Since time immemorial, one of the most transcendental quests of mankind has been how to quickly put an end to the famous hangoverthat irritating period that comes immediately after a night of drinking or binge drinking alcohol. Once again, a drink appears as the solution, or at least that’s what it promises: it’s Safety Shot, a liquid that claims to clear alcohol from the blood in 30 minutes.

In the brand’s own words: “Safety Shot creates an exciting new product category—rapid alcohol detox—in the fast-growing $1.56 billion hangover market, which is projected to grow 14.6% from 2021 to 2028.”

“Safety Shot’s innovative, patented formula accelerates the body’s alcohol detoxification process by customizing vitamins, minerals and natural nootropics to promote rehydration and mental clarity. Through four different mechanisms of action (MOA), Safety Shot works on the central nervous system (CNS), restoring everything that alcohol damages: 1) it sobers up the person; 2) prevents the absorption of alcohol residues in the intestines; 3) reduces the effect of alcohol entering the blood; and 4) supports hydration, in addition to a fifth “wellness” component that no other drink or purported cure claims: it improves a sense of mental and physical well-being, “seeing is believing, we’d say.”

“We are thrilled to launch Safety Shot with our omnichannel strategy designed to dominate e-commerce, quickly capture retail shelves and establish long-term relationships with key distribution and sales partners,” said Safety Shot CEO Brian John.

The drink will be available for retail purchase at www.DrinkSafetyShot.com and www.Amazon.com. The company plans to begin business-to-business sales of Safety Shot to distributors, retailers, restaurants and bars in the first quarter of 2024.

Be careful with the fine print:

The funny thing is that in the press release, the folks at Safety Shot put a band-aid on their product in front of the wound:

“Generally, forward-looking statements can be identified by the use of forward-looking terms such as “expect,” “believe,” “continue,” “may,” “estimate,” “expect,” “investigate,” “estimate,” “intend.” , “may”, “could”, “plan”, “potentially”, “predict”, “project”, “seek”, “should” or “will”, or the negative thereof, or other variations of the same or comparable terminology . These forward-looking statements are based on each of the Company’s current plans, objectives, estimates, expectations and intentions and inherently involve significant risks and uncertainties, many of which are beyond Safety Shot’s control. Actual results and the timing of events may differ materially from those anticipated in such forward-looking statements due to these risks and uncertainties, as well as other risks and uncertainties affecting Safety Shot.
