The online store, which was launched on the night of November 2, became unusable after a short time. Apparently this was a software bug that Sony promptly fixed.
During the short time the store was open, users noticed banners with games and special offers, which caused a wave of discussion on social networks.
However, a few hours later, access to the PS Store was closed again. Enthusiasts claimed that the temporary opening of the store was the result of a temporary error.
While Sony suspended the operations of the Russian PlayStation Store in March 2022, it also stopped the supply of consoles, accessories and game discs to the country.
Despite the brief “resurgence” of the service, the store has not been officially relaunched and Russian players still cannot access digital copies of games and PSN services.
