Instead, 160 miniature sensors provide high sensitivity, allowing each string to be felt, for example, when playing a virtual violin.
Each haptic feedback “pixel” on the fingertips contains a fluid that is activated and stretches the bubble, creating a tactile sensation. These pumps work on the principle of electroosmosis, attracting the charge in the liquid and causing it to flow, creating a tactile response.
The gloves weigh only 207 grams and have a battery life of up to three hours, offering users a long and comfortable experience in virtual worlds.
