Yandex introduced a new speaker with voice assistant Alice. “Midi Station” has new “Alice” capabilities and can control Zigbee-enabled devices without Internet.

A voice activity detector (VAD) has been implemented in the Midi station. It allows you to set different scenarios. For example, in the morning, as soon as the voices sound, the speaker turns on the music or the kettle. You can activate the function and configure scenarios in the “Home with Alice” application.

“Station Midi” has three speakers with a total power of 24 W. Especially for this model, the company has developed a woofer that is responsible for deep bass.
It is backed by two high-frequency speakers and Room Correction technology adapts the sound to the acoustics of the room.
The speaker has a display and LED backlight. The screen shows the time and weather. The backlight changes depending on the weather and “Alice’s” “mood” during answers.
