A biographical film about the founder of SpaceX and the richest man on the planet, Elon Musk, will be filmed in Hollywood. The biopic will be directed by Oscar nominee Darren Aronofsky, best known for his work on the films Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream and The Wrestler.

The film about the richest man on the planet will be based on a printed biography written by Walter Isaacson. Universal has made a biographical film about Apple founder Steve Jobs, based on the writer’s book.
The preliminary release date, cast and title of the film about Elon Musk are still unknown.
Darren Aronofsky has directed more than a dozen films during his directing career, most of them nominated for prestigious film awards. For directing Black Swan, Aronofsky received a nomination for the highest award – the film’s Oscar.
