Recently, it is known that developers are actively working on the iPhone 16 and 17 models, which are the new generations of the iPhone.
One of the most anticipated features of Apple’s upcoming flagships is the integration of the under-display Face ID sensor, which promises a real breakthrough in facial recognition technology.
According to the latest rumors and analytical predictions, the iPhone 16 will have increased screen sizes of up to 6.3 and 6.9 inches in the Pro models respectively.
This will be the first significant increase in size in several years. Additionally, all four iPhone 16 models are expected to feature new A-series chips built on advanced 3nm N3E technology, promising improvements in efficiency and performance.
But the most interesting new feature is definitely the Face ID sensor on the screen. This technology will increase the usable display area as a full Dynamic Island will not be required to house the sensors.
Although it was initially assumed that the innovation would appear in the 2024 models, the latest data shows that under-screen Face ID may not be implemented until 2025.
