Deputy Head of the regional government Alexandra Lebedeva stated that the main focus of the Center will be aimed at working with young people, students and future employers. It is planned to select competencies taking into account the needs of Kamchatka companies and actively interacting with them. Students will be able to include elements in their education programs that will contribute to the development of these competencies.

The center is being developed in a format suitable for all residents of the Kamchatka Territory. This will provide university and college students with the opportunity to take exams, as well as residents with the chance to improve their career prospects and professional development.

The regional competence center will promote closer interaction between educational institutions and the business community of the region, create favorable conditions for future specialists and improve the professional skills of students.
