A resident of the city of Adana decided to give his girlfriend a romantic surprise and give her a car.
The man didn’t have enough, but he worked for a delivery service that also shipped Apple equipment to its customers. At one point, a box with 33 iPhones worth $30 thousand fell into his hands, and he decided to secretly appropriate it for himself.
Most of the smartphones were quickly sold, and with the proceeds he bought a car. However, other employees quickly identified him from CCTV cameras and reported the incident to the police.
