Apple has postponed the launch of the Vision Pro headphones, said expert Mark Gurman. The device was scheduled to launch in January 2024, but the launch was delayed until March because the developers had not yet finished testing the product.
Apple delayed the launch of the Vision Pro mixed reality headset until March 2024, Bloomberg expert Mark Gurman said. The device was initially planned to be launched in January.
Gurman noted that the launch was postponed because developers were still testing the product. Apple previously announced an expansion of the number of laboratories to test the device.
According to a source, Vision Pro will be sold for pre-order only through its online store and its own retail outlets.
In July, the Financial Times reported that Apple had cut its production plan for its Vision Pro mixed reality headset by 60%. The new product turned out to be too difficult to produce, the newspaper clarifies.
It was also previously reported that Apple would not have time to develop its own chip to replace Qualcomm.
